Please Note the Following:

• All candidates must be members of the Hindu Society of Greater Cincinnati in good standing for at least 12 months prior to December 5, 2026.
• For the positions of President and Long-Range Planning Chair, the candidate must have actively served the Hindu Society in an executive capacity for at least one year.
• Nomination(s) must be submitted by emailing the nomination form to hsgcelection2027@gmail.com by November 21, 2026.
• Nomination forms should be signed by the nominee, the proposer, and the seconder. Phone numbers and email addresses of all listed in the nomination form must be included for verification by the Election Commission.
• Both proposer and seconder must be HSGC members.
• No nominations will be accepted after the deadline of November 21, 2026.
• Nominees cannot withdraw their nominations one week before the election, i.e. November 28, 2026.
• Nomination forms can be downloaded from the temple website.
• The description, role and responsibilities for every position are listed on the HSGC website.
• The Election Commission will verify the interest of the candidates as well as their understanding of the role.
• The election will be conducted at the Hindu Temple, 720 Barg Salt Run Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45244, after the General Body Meeting, which will start at 11:00 AM.
