STAND AGAINST PREJUDICE

posted in: News 0

We have received communication from multiple devotees that they did not read completely and did not realize the prejudice in the Change.org petition against the Temple. They felt that prejudice had no place in the Temple and were concerned that their name could be exposed in the public domain and associated with discrimination.

Below is a way to protect your good name in social media.  Change.org provides a way for you to un-sign a petition.

The way to remove is as below:

  1. Check your email inbox for the confirmation email you received from Change.org when you signed the petition. The subject line usually starts with the petition starter’s name followed by your name.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the email. You will see an option that says: “Didn’t sign this petition? Remove your signature”.
  3. Click on the link provided in the email to remove your signature.

Please note that the link in this email is only valid for 30 days. If you no longer have this email, or it was sent over 30 days ago, you can contact Change.org support for further assistance. They can resend the signature confirmation for the petition(s) you would like to remove your signature from. Just include the link to the petition(s) in your request.
