Ram and Sita are among the most celebrated incarnations of Vishnu and Lakshmi. In the epic Ramayana, they are revealed as the ideal couple in their adherence to right conduct. “Rama Rajya,” the rule of justice, peace, and prosperity, is the dream of Hindus. Special events in the temple include: Ramayan Path (singing the entire Ramayan of Tulsidas) to coincide with Ram Navami (birth of Ram) (Mar–April) and Sita‑Ram wedding ceremony (Sita‑Rama Kalyanamu). Also, Vijaya Dashami at the conclusion of Navaratri in the fall season to celebrate victory over Ravan.
